512. Another Antique Chinese Condiment Set, c. 19th Century This second condiment set is housed in a matching wooden box with simple, unadorned lid. Each section of this set has been hand painted with figures dressed in traditional chinese garb. All pieces fit together to form a sort of puzzle as well. 513. Cloisonne Desk Set, c. Late 19th Century Enameled and rosewood desk tray has three sections with removable lids. The handles on the lids are cast metal foo dogs. The cloisonne ink well is located in the center and may have a missing top. Matching cloisonne design is located along exterior perimeter. Wood appears to be rosewood. 514. Oriental Porcelain Urn with Dragon Accents Oriental porcelain urn has on an overall pattern of geometric squares and dots. Tripod base has feet in the shape of chinese dragons. Exterior of this vase also features several images of oriental men dressed in red and white kimonos. The sides of this urn are accented with two figures of asian dragons. Verso is signed with red lettering. Lid is signed in red lettering as well and features a geometric square and dot pattern. Attached to lid is a third figure of a chinese dragon. 517. A Trio of Embroidered Chinese Textiles A stunning array of embroidered chinese textiles features three table runners. First runner is made from dusky blue silk and adorned with embroidered vases of flowers in green, pink and gold. Outside border is accented with violet, blue and white flowers. Measures apprx 22" L x 11" W. Verso lined in pink silk and stamped "China". Second runner is made from creamy white silk and accented with blue and green butterflies and exotic birds. Outside border has been embroidered with oriental figures as well as with birds and flowers. Verso lined in pale blue silk and stamped "China". Measures apprx 27" L x 12" W. Third textile is made from red-orange silk and features several embroidered flowers and and birds. White border is accented with blue, green and gold flowers. Verso is lined in red silk. Lovely pale green coloring around upper and lower rims of vase is accented by pink flowers and yellow vines. Central register is white with mountains, huts, exotic birds and flowers. 519. Embroidered Silk Panel Beautifully embroidered silk panel features a branch from a bamboo tree. Situated along this branch are various exotic birds in vibrant shades of pink, green, red, yellow and blue. Panel is also embroidered with a water-lily filled pond. Mallard ducks swim in this pond and a peacock is located below. The focal point of this panel, however, is the large scale, exotic bird perched on the bamboo branch. This bird has been embroidered in brilliant shades of orange, white, brown, yellow, red and pink. In the upper right side of this panel a series of chinese characters have been embroidered in black thread. These letters are accented by a small red cartouche with chinese characters embroidered in red. Overall size of this panel is apprx 32" H x 63" W.
