Pair of delicate bisque figurines depict a pair of children sitting on a rock with a basket of flowers. One child holds a blossom while the other child smells the flower. These pieces are unmarked and unsigned. Measure apprx 17" H x 11" W.

The first lidded pitcher is Royal Doulton has an overall brown glaze with impressed flower decoration. Pink and blue flowers are accented by forest green leaves. Verso has been impressed with the Royal Doulton insignia, measures apprx 8-1/4"H x 4-1/2"W. Second lidded pitcher by Burleigh Ware has an overall white glaze with stenciled design of marigolds in yellow, green and gold. Handle has been hand-painted with a forest green design of vines and leaves. Stamped on verso "Burleigh Ware, Tudor", measures apprx 7-1/2"H x 3-3/4"W. The third lidded pitcher has an overall berry glaze with applied white and gold leaf pattern and Greek key border. Verso has impressed cartouche with "R", measures apprx 8" H x 7" W.

The pitcher has an overall pumpkin and brown glaze with hand painted pink and white flowers. Square-shaped porcelain handle has an accent of bead-like forms. Verso is stamped with artists palette the "CAC", (Ceramic Art Company) and "Belleek", in green. Measures apprx 6" H x 11" W.

Royal Worcester porcelain vase features a trio of reticulated basketry in the shapes of an egg. Hand-painted with blue flowers and golden autumn leaves. Verso stamped in blue "RW" within a triangular cartouche with a crown. This piece measures apprx 6" H x 5" W.

Pair of ceramic vases have a fluted upper rim with silver glazed accents on the leaves and pine cones. This vase is adorned with applied figures of cherubs and accented by leaves and pine cones. Applied seal on verso of the vases features a crowned shield flanked by two eagles. Shield has been impressed with the letter "B". Matching ceramic cup has applied silver glazed leaves. Verso features a seal with the number 68. Vases measure apprx 11" H x 10" W. Cup measures apprx 4" H x 3" W.

Glazed porcelain ewer features a gilded scrolling handle. Blue irises have been outlined in upraised gold paint. Verso is stamped in blue, "1790, K & C, 8. Late Mayer". Upper lip of ewer has been accented with gold paint. This piece measures apprx 10" H x 5" W.

456. Partial Transitional Coffee Service of Sterling Over Ceramic, c. Early 20th Century


This lot includes a coffee pot, a creamer, a sugar, and a lid. The lid does not appear to fit any of these pieces properly, although it will sit on the coffee pot. Pieces are ceramic with a lovely brown glaze and beautiful silver overlay in a transitional Art Nouveau/Art Deco design. On the Art Nouveau side is a monogram with the initials "LFA" in a stylized boarder and on the Art Deco side is straight lines intersecting at the center. Handles, rims and bases are all also silver overlay. With the exception of the lid, all are verso etched "8360" and stamped "493" at the base. All marks have been well polished over time. Sterling mark is not visible, but they do appear to be sterling. Measurements are: coffee pot, apprx 5" H x 9-1/2" from spout to handle, creamer, apprx. 4" H x 6-1/2" handle to handle, sugar, apprx 3-1/2" H x 5-1/2" from spout to handle, lid is apprx 3" diameter.

Glazed porcelain water pitcher by Doulton features an applied leaf border around upper rim. Border continues diagonally down the length of the pitcher. Spout and handle are accented by gold lines. The remainder of the body of pitcher has a golden-green tone accented with hints of pink. Verso stamped "Doulton" Pitcher measures apprx 9" H x 7" W.

Porcelain, in the style of Sevres, hand painted pedestal urn. The base, central section and the rim and handles are gilt. The base is verso marked "L Henry" and the lovely hand painted scene of a mother and child fishing is signed "Georges". Measures apprx 13-1/2" H.

Haviland hand-painted rose bowl has a biomorphic petal-like shape. This bowl is adorned with blossoming yellow and pink roses. Stamped "Haviland, France" on verso in light green. Inscribed in yellow "Mrs. W.C. Bacon, 1904". Bowl measures apprx 3-1/2" H x 10" W.

Charming porcelain desk accessory in the shape of a grape leaf. Curled grape leaf base features an attached ink pot in the shape of a bunch of grapes. Also attached in a pen holder in the shape of a bunch of grapes. Gold lettering on verso reads "Made in Germany for F. Vorenbera & Co, Boston, Mass". This piece measures apprx 2-1/2" H x 6" W.

This lovely hand-painted double-handled vase features a deep cobalt blue glaze with gilt hand-painted scrolls. Several medallions filled with blossoming pink roses adorn the body of the vase. Neck of vase has a flowing petal design. Unmarked and unsigned this piece measures apprx 7-1/2" H x 8" W.

Three Nesting Pots

462. Three Nesting Pots


Three hexagonal porcelain planters, all with pierced lattice work sides and royal blue floral decorations on top, bottom and side rims. Each planter stands on six feet and has a hole in the bottom for drainage. These planters have an Asian style and measure from largest to smallest apprx 3-1/2" H x 4-1/2" D, 2-3/4" H x 3-1/4" D and 2-1/4" H x 2-1/4" D.

Square-shaped porcelain plaque features a hand-painted hunt scene. Three riders and a group of greyhounds chase after a fox. Signed "Feidler" in lower right corner. Verso is stamped "Heinrich Porzellan, Jagdservice" This piece measures apprx 10" H x 12-1/2" W. Most Heinrich porcelain is dated apprx post WWII.
