In the foreground stands a thin woman wearing a light blue dress with her head covered with a hood and pointed shoes, her bony hands holding a cane. She stands at an open door. Most of the lines in this painting are highly angular. It is signed "F. Mayer" on the lower right. On the other side is a soft pastel-colored portrait of a reclining nude woman.
