A framed oil on canvas signed "F. Mayer" and titled "Self-Portrait" on the lower right. It is a partial profile of the artist, holding a pipe in his right hand. On verso of the frame and lower right corner of painting "Self Portrait by Frank Mayer Circa 1925" is inscribed. Measures apprx 19-3/4" x 15-3/4" image size and 21-1/2" x 17-1/2" overall.

This oil on masonite ispainted on both sides. On one side is a bright yellow sky with a bare, knotted tree on a small hill. In the foreground stands a thin woman wearing a light blue dress with her head covered with a hood and pointed shoes, her bony hands holding a cane. She stands at an open door. Most of the lines in this painting are highly angular. It is signed "F. Mayer" on the lower right. On the other side is a soft pastel-colored portrait of a reclining nude woman. It measures 31-3/4" x 48".

This piece was accepted into the 1956 May Show. Accompanying this painting is an article photocopied from the 10/02/69 Morning Moniter.

Tag on verso identifies this piece as "Gambada". A second tag from the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown identifies this from the 1967 mid-year show an indicates the work is entitled "Kimono Man" rather than "Gambada". Image measures apprx 16-1/2" x 14-1/2". Framed, this piece measures apprx 26" x 24".
