Watercolor on paper, adhered to backing paper board. Signed in lower right corner and dated 1889. The image size measures apprx 9-3/4" x 21" and overall paper size is 10-1/2" x 21-1/2". Lewis studied with Paul Weber from 1850-1855. He first exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1854 and was elected an Associate of the Pennsylvania Academy in 1859.
