219. French Cherub Andirons, Mid-19th Century

A great pair of gilt andirons with two cherubs, with garlands in their hair and a small piece of cloth draped across their laps, sitting on either side of a large urn. The urn is very decorative with lovely details and a large swag draped across the front. This piece also has what appears to be a flame at the top. They measure apprx. 17-1/2" H x 12" W x 6" D.
