Hungarian reverse marriage portrait depicts a bearded man in a black top hat and black waistcoat. He wears black boots and tan pair of breeches. He leans upon a wooden cane and is joined by a woman, holding a bouquet of wildflowers. She wears a rose colored dress and black apron. Upper and lower ends of image are accented by rose, tan, blue and black stripes. Overall with frame this piece measures apprx 12" H x 8" W. Unsigned. Verso lined with German newspaper. Dated c. 19th century.
