Antonio Borsato porcelain horse and carriage figural depicts a pale green cart being pulled by a white horse. Inside the cart is a young girl dressed in a blue and pink gown. A shawl is draped across the back of the cart. A well-dressed young man atop a brown horse rides up to the cart and offers the girl a bouquet of flowers. This very delicate figural is marked "A. Borsato, Made in Italy." Measures apprx 13" H x 18" W.
The Cacciapuoti grandfather was from Naples but later the sons moved to Milan and really started the figurine productions which inspired Antonio Borsato. Borsato is one of Italy's premiere porcelain sculptors.
