| 75. Henry G. Keller (American, 1869-1949)
"Landscape", etching on paper, signed lower right in pencil by Cleveland School artist, Henry George Keller. This image is matted and framed under glass and measures apprx 3-1/4" x 5" image size and 8-1/4" x 9-3/4" overall. Keller was from Berlin Heights Ohio; about 40 miles west of Cleveland. He was first trained at the Western Reserve School of Design for Women where he received special permission to attend classes. He had a forty-year career as a teacher at the Cleveland School of Art and also directed a summer school at Berlin Heights, Ohio. One of the most prominent Cleveland School artists, Keller was especially influenced by Paul Cezanne and Henri Matisse.
