English silverplated fan dish is a unique fan-shaped box with a hinged lid. Lid is split in half and swings open to reveal the interior of the box. The fan-shaped box is accented with a horizontal band and overall pattern of tiny flowers. Lid can be opened by two flower handles. Verso has three rounded feet. Stamped "Meeson's Patent" and marked with the number 28. Several series of inscribed numbers are located throughout this box. This box measures apprx 9" H x 10" W.
