Persian manuscript leaf dates from apprx the 19th century. This is a leaf from the Shah-Nameh of Firdusi. This manuscript is composed of four columns of Nasta Liq script. The border is made from red, blue and gold ink. Written on polished rice paper. Paper measures apprx 12" H x 7-1/2" W. Overall with mat this piece measures apprx 16" H x 12" W.
