An antique Shirvan carpet from Russia is dated c. 1890 and measures apprx 5'8" x 3'6". Rectangular central field is teal with sixteen diamond shaped medallions in shades of cream, burnt orange, navy and red. This field is encompassed by three ribbon borders filled with flowers and various geometric designs. Beige fringe located at both ends of carpet.
