Sixteen maps from Captain Cook's voyage. Maps range in size from apprx 11"H x 20"W to 9"H x 11"W. These maps are dated from c. 1790. Some have been removed from books, chained lined paper with watermark "DuBoius" on several. Several plate by "Duff". Many have brown ink notations in upper margins.
These include a plan of the Bay of Awatska on the eastern coast of Kamtschatka, a map of Christmas Island, a sketch of the Typa and Macao, a map of Mangeea and Toobouai Islands, a view of Sulpher Island, three views of the Arched Point on Kerguelen's Land, a bird's eye view of Kerguelen's Land, a chart of Van Diemen's Land, a chart of the Friendly Islands, a plan of Adventure Bay, a sketch of the Harbour of Samganooda, a plan of Christmas Harbour on Kerguelen's Land, a sketch of the Harbours on the north side of Eimeo and three maps presenting various views from the coast of Asia.
