P. Ovidii Nasonis, Opera Omnia Rod & Gerh Wetstenios, H. FF, 1714, Amsterdam. Text in latin. This opera has been rebound in rich brown leather with raised bands and inserted black leather band on spine. Bands are accented with embossed gilt. Marbled edges. 302 pp. Front section of this book has two pages of engravings with the name B. Picart, 1713. Measures apprx 5-1/2" H x 3-1/2" W.

One engraving features a cherub sitting atop a globe with the profile of Ovid above him. Latin text reads "Mantua Virgilo gaudet Verona Catullo Pelignae dicar gloria gentis ego." Second illustration features a seated man flanked by two draped women and a pair of swans. Latin text above the figures reads "P. Ovidii Nasonis, Opera Omnia".
