198. Five Shelf Etagere, C. 20th Century
Five shelf wooden etagere has a one way drawer under the lowest shelf. The drawer is dove-tailed and has brass appointments which are screwed in and appear to be original. It has finials on all four corners on the top shelf. This piece is marked on interior "Made by Bevan Funnell Ltd. Newhaven, England, Reprodux, the Queens award to industry, 1967-1970". Measures apprx 19" L x 16" W x 54" H.

199. Silver Chest Mounted on Stand, 20th century
This silver chest on stand has four narrow tapered legs. It has an inlaid panel on the front and a brass escutcheon (key is included). This panel folds down to reveal three drawers, all with small brass pulls. Each drawer is lined with a pad covered in tarnish-preventive silver cloth and has a tarnish-preventive silver cloth covering marked "Tradition House, Hanover, Pennsylvania, Heirloom Furniture". One drawer has an appointment for up to 25 knives, one drawer has an appointment for up to 12 knives and 5 deep vertical slots to stack spoons and/or forks and one drawer is a large compartment. On top of the three drawers is a removable dove-tailed wood tray with inset handles for serving pieces. The hinges on the interior compartment are marked "J.G. Edelen, Baltimore". There is a fourth drawer on the base which is also lined in tarnish-preventive silver cloth and has a large brass pull. Also brass handles on either side of the top compartment. Measures apprx 44" H x 15-1/2" D x 21-1/4" W.

200. Pembroke Drop Leaf Table
A lovely pembroke table, possibly walnut, standing on slender tapering legs. It has a one way dovetailed drawer with a central one-way drawer with an initialed brass back plate in oval form decorated with an eagle with a bail handle of conforming shape. Measures apprx 28-1/2" H x 36" W and 21"D with the sides down and 43" D with the sides open.

201. Ornately Carved Renaissance Style Arm Chair, C. Early 20th Century
This impressive oak arm chair, apprx 51" H x 21-1/2" D x 25-1/2" W. Ornately carved throughout including two preening birds on the pierced crown, flanked by two oval shaped carved finials. Chair back is also pierced and has scrolling floral designs, two birds heads across the bottom flanked by turned pillars. Chair back and seat are upholstered with a tapestry decorated with a people gathered in front of a castle watching two men in armor dueling on horseback. Arms sit on turned supports. The arms, legs the band around the seat are also carved in floral pattern. The pierced apron has a central urn filled with fruit flanked by four cupid type figures. Has a turned stretcher and sits on claw feet.

202. Diminutive Chamber Pot Stand, C. Late 19th/Early 20th Century
This delicate honey-color wood cupboard has a central door that opens with a brass pull to reveal a slatted shelf that would have been used to store a chamber pot(?). The top has lovely carved edges with high rounded corners and scalloped carved handles for easy transport. It stands on narrow tapered legs and is apprx 29-1/2" H x 14" W x 12" D. A very attractive decorative piece.

203. A Vintage Leather Wing Chair
A Higbee Company arm chair upholstered in rich brown leather with brass tacks along the arms sitting on narrow square legs with vertical molding. There is a Higbee Company tag attached to the chair, under the cushion. Apprx 41" H x 32" W x 24-1/4" D.

204. A Davenport Writing Desk, C. Late 19th Century
Wood carved doweled gallery at top, green leather inserted writing surface, flip lid and side compartment; one with small compartments for letters and such, the other with larger space. Made of a golden color oak with a rubbed finish. Burled wood panels. Apprx 35" H x 25" W x 31" D. In 1790, Captain Josiah Davenport needed a compact writing desk, with plenty of storage space, for an upcoming trans-Atlantic ocean voyage. The efficient and stylish piece he commissioned became so popular that his furniture maker was soon overwhelmed with orders for "Davenports".

206. Tulip Wood Marble Top Table, C. Early 20th Century
Table top is black marble with white and tan veins set under wood frame. Frame has inlaid banding and reeded brass band at edges. Brass floral escutcheons located near top of saber legs, terminating in brass sabots. Sides of the table have fishtail inlay around perimeter. Apprx 22" H x 26-1/2" W x 18-1/2"D.

207. An Inlaid Burled Chest of Drawers, Early-Mid 20th Century
Four drawer chest with custom glass, bowed front with light colored burled maple framed in dark wood inlaid banding. Drawers are dove-tailed and have four crest shaped brass plaques with conforming bail handles on each drawer. Handles appear to be original. Sides also with four panes of burled maple in mirrored fashion. Apprx 37" H x 47" W x 21" D.
