Letter converse with kind words and social inforamtion about such families as the Perkins and Wadsworths'. Letters date from early 1800's. 733. A Collection of Papers & Items Belonging to Sergent Solomon Fell, Troop I, 5th U.S Calvary This collection has recently been released by the Estate of Mr. Fell. The lot includes a calvary drill regulations book for the I troop, of the 5th calvary, three wool patches and pin, one cyanotype and eleven black and white pictures of the same calvary. 734. Indian Manuscript Leaf Double sided leaf from an Indian manuscript. Such manuscripts contained the texts of the epics, the Puranas and Sthala Puranas. Hand-written, the script is encased in a hand-painted border. There are four columns of script are divided by three hand painted borders. All of the writing is in black ink. Diacritical dots indicate that this is a later manuscript leaf. Possibly written in the Urdu language in the Khat-e-Faarsi style. Paper measures apprx 15-1/2" H x 9-3/4" W.
