"Cactus". Watercolor on paper. Although signed "Marian Berry Simpson" at lower left and right corners, this is probably the work of Marian Hahn Simpson (American 1899-1978). She was a pupil of Henry G. Keller and worked in watercolor, gouache, and oil, painting landscapes and historic California themes. Image size apprx 12-1/2" x 21-1/4", overall with frame apprx 21-1/2" x 28-1/2".
