| 245. Kayserzinn Pewter Pitcher, C. Late 19th/Early 20th Century
Kayserzinn pewter pitcher features a high relief design of a devil flanked by irises. Accented by a tail-like handle. Upper rim has scalloped edge. Stamped on verso "Kayserzinn, 18, 4061 P". Measures apprx 12-1/2' H x 9" W. Englebert Kayser (1840-1911) is the father of Kayserzinn pewter. Kayserzinn objects are numbered from the number “4000” onwards and with the word”Kayserzinn”. All objects are marked with these numbers. The number 4000 was introduced in 1894/5 and the last number, 4999, was produced in 1925. 250/400 Sold $264.50 back to catalog |
