A 19th century collector's album containing East Indian paintings on mica and European paper. Also known as "Company Paintings". Album is 1/2 red morocco with marbled boards, folio (approx 10" x 13"). Album contains 34 paintings on mica and 27 on paper, depicting mainly common people of various occupations and exotic birds. Illustrations vary in size (3- 1/2" x 5") and (5" x 7").
