Signed woodcut by John Archibald Austen is numbered 8/10 and signed in lower right corner. Woodcut depicts a female figure riding a horse and accompanied by a greyhound. Austem was influenced by Aubrey Beardsley and later in his carrer he illustrated books for the Limited Editions Book Club and the Heritage Book Club, New York. Image measures apprx 6-1/2" H x 6" W.
