This is a re-cutting of Martin Schongauer's "The Taking of Christ" was had been cancelled, c. 16th/ early 16th century and re-used. Lower margin has artist initials "S" for Schoengauer and "N" for the cutter. The reverse of this plate has a traditional painted Dutch marriage portrait.
