Cleveland School artist Kae Dorn Cass is most well-known for her portraits and still life compositions. Previously an instructor at the Cleveland Institute of Art and Cleveland Museum of Art May Show exhibitor, Cass is known for her use of bright colors and simplified shapes. This oil on canvas painting is typical of her style with it's stylized vegetables and bottle. Signed "Kae Dorn Cass, '51" in lower right corner. Canvas measures apprx 19" H x 16" W.
