Engraving of "Christ before Annas", a c. 1477-1520 engraving on chain lined paper with letter "P" and flower water mark, either Cologne of Strasbourg. This is not a lifetime impression. Size apprx 4-1/2" x 6-1/2". He was a German Northern Renaissance Painter and is known as the most important engraver and draughtsman in German art before Dürer.
