"Walpurgis Nacht" Original watercolor on paper, unsigned. The verso has a gallery tag from "A. Jacquet, Paris". Lami was a student of Antoine-Jean Gros, Horace Vernet and studied at the 'Ecole des Beaux-Arts. He was also a founder of the French Watercolor Society an won the silver medal in the 1875 Paris Salon. Paper/image apprx 28" x 21-3/8", (71 cm x 54 cm). Provenance: The Raton Estate in Paris.
