105. Attributed to Giovanni Battista Cipriani (Italian, 1727-1785)

"King of the Hill". A pencil and sanguine drawing of several small children playing king of the hill. The children all have cherubic faces and flowing curly hair. It is framed in original gold leaf frame under glass with a beveled painted oval shaped wood mat. On verso is the artist's name "G.B. Cipriani R.A. 1727-1785" in pencil. Overall size is apprx 9-1/2" x 11-1/4", image size is 6-1/4" x 8".
