| 5. Egyptian Mummy Shroud, C. Late Dynastic/Early Ptolmaic Period, C. 375-300 B.C.
A very large fragment of a painted shroud, with tempera painting and hieroglyphs in black ink. Four deities, including Anubis and Horus and two supplicants (?) face each other in vertically arranged pairs. Between the figures are three bands of expressively written hieroglyphs.
