| 276. Millenium Edition Faberge Imperial Napoleon Egg
This is a reproduction of the breathtaking Imperial Napoleonic Egg by Peter Carl Faberge. The original egg was given to the Dowager Empress Marie by her son, Czar Nicholas II on 1912, for the anniversary of the defeat of Napoleon at Borodino. This egg is crafted out of translucent green enamel over a guilloche ground and decorated in the Empire style with double-headed eagles and military trophies on each panel. Panels are framed by 865 hand-set Austrian crystals and 24K gold leafing. Nestled inside the egg is an elaborate six-panel folding frame with 975 hand set crystals.
