A reproduction of the 1898 Lilies-of-the-valley Faberge Imperial egg. This gold egg is enameled with a translucent rose on a guilloche field and supported by four cabriolet legs composed of overlapping leaves veined with hand set crystals. Paw feet are set with pearls. Located inside the egg are three oval miniatures of Nicholas II in his military uniform and the Grand Duchesses Olga and Tatiana, the first two children of the Czar. With extended frames this egg measures apprx 8-1/2" H. Comes with original paperwork and box.
