Apprx 5 are not hand colored This book is missing the cover page. Chain lines and watermarks visible on paper of "J. Whatman Turkey Mill, 1827". Marbled end boards and leather spine. 18-3/4" x 12-1/2". A sister volume was offered and sold in the January 2004 auction.

After the original by Nicolas Sanson created in 1693. Presented to King George in 1745. Map with light color, two decorative cartouches and views of Sterling Castle and Edinburg castle. Henry Overton flourished from 1707 onwards. Apprx 35-1/2" x 23", framed.
