675. Japanese Arita Export Plate, ca. 1790
Beautifully potted export ware plate with a stylized island landscape. This plate has been painted in rusty red, blue and gold against a white ground. Set within four cartouches are sprays of flowers with floral and geometric borders. Characteristic Japanese floral sprays are located on the reverse of the border. This plate was made for Japanese export to the Dutch market, ca. 1790. Plate measures apprx 9-3/4" in diameter.

676. Samurai Armor, ca. 19th Century
Lot includes the Dou and Sode, the Kabuto (helmet) and Memppo (face mask) along with the Suni-ate (shin and knee guards). Intricate stitching with a honeycomb pattern in silk fabric with gold thread. Lacquered metal plates, protective mesh and horse hair trim decorate this suit. Silk lacing in a green color. The torso has a Sashimono, which is where the flag is mounted on the back of the armor that was method of identification, much like the European surcoat.

677. Pair of Persian Vases, ca. 18th Century
Pair of Persian vases are dated ca. 18th Century. Each vase has a protective metal insert. Exterior features a teal glaze with abstract black designs. Vases are accompanied by envelope containing papers regarding the glaze technique used in creating these vases. Each vase measures apprx 8" H x 8" W.

678. Famille Verte Floor Vases, ca. Late Ching Dynasty
Pair of Famille Verte floor vases are dated from the late Ching dynasty (ca. 1890). Each vase has an overall design of flowers and scrolls in a light jade green against a white glazed background. Vignettes depict exotic birds and flowers. Both vases measure apprx 24" H x 10-1/2" W. No signatures were found these pieces.

679. A Baluster Chinese Form Vase, ca. C. Qhing Dynasty
C. Late 19th century Chinese vase is made from glazed porcelain. Blue vines are set against a white background. Accented with lotus blossoms and chinese lettering. Vase has a flared rim and is signed in blue chinese lettering on verso. Vase measures apprx 16" H x 9" W. Verso also has a sticker with the number 147. Provenance: ex-collection of Mr. Gordon K. Mott, Cleveland.

A lovely pair of swallows with blooming morning glories on a blue field. One inch border in multicolored enamels. Small footed bases surounded with scrolling "C"'s in wire. Unsigned, each apprx 12"D.

681. Another Set of Cloisonné Chargers, ca. Late 19th Century
Almost identical, one plate has a perched bird amongst grapes and roses and wonderfully shaded grape leaves. The second has two birds in flight with two central peonies and distant cherry blossoms. Both with similar border detail and bottom decoration. Each apprx 12"D. Attached hanging wire.

682. A Lot of Cloisonné Chargers, ca. Late 19th Century
The first charger has a water bird next to blooming water lilies with a close-up of one leaf with browned edges. The second has a sparrow with many blooming flowers. Both have wonderful gradations on colors in the leaves. Both also have beautiful border decorations and wire work on the back. Each apprx 10-3/4"D.
