Marble Quan Ying head has been carved in the Ming style. This bust is attached to a geometric wooden base. Cream colored marble is cool to the touch. The head measures apprx 19" H x 17" W. Base measures apprx 8" H x 15" W.

Chinese bronze mirror has a design of dragons and flowering plants. The smooth side of this piece would have been highly polished allowing a clear reflection. Verso is decorative with Chinese characters. Measures apprx 10" in diameter.

Six panel folding table screen with six original 19th C. painted panels. Six vertical panels in ink and wash on silk in a monochromatic color scheme, each with Japanese calligrphy and red artists chops. Scenes from left to right: (1) Rocks and flowers, (2) Flowering branch with birds, (3) Flowers with moon in upper right, (4) Flowers with flying insect, (5) Bird and flowers, (6) Bird on branch with landscape background. These panels have been restored and remounted on a new screen. Each is mounted on a cream background, bordered with pale green textured silk band, set in new lacquer frame with gilded fold edges. Size: each Ryoun panel is apprx 26-3/4" x 12-1/2". They are mounted on panels: two end panels apprx 40-3/4"H x 17-3/4", four center panels apprx 40-3/4"H x 15". Overall apprx width 95-1/2".

Pair of Japanese Kutani beakers are dated ca. 19th Century. These beakers have a gold flower painted exterior with gold along upper rim. Inside is marked with bands of Japanese text. Verso is signed in red Japanese lettering. Each beaker measures apprx 3-1/2" H x 2-1/2" W.

Very similar to the work of Yabu Meizan, this small bowl is decorated with chrysanthemum borders at the exterior base and interior rim. Detailed figures in in daily activities surround the exterior near the rim and the center interior. This center has some very unique figures including children, elderly men, women, some with parisols and one person with a basket over his head. The slight footed base has a thin black band decorated with gold and the exterior rim-proper is in red with gold. verso has artist's signature on black ground in gold with a double gold band with red. Artist is unknown. Apprx 5" D x 2" H.

Black glazed vase has a very fine example of an oil spot glaze. Two animal head medallions protrude from the left and right sides of this piece. Bottom is marked with an impressed mark with Chinese lettering. Vase measures apprx 9-1/4" H x 5-1/2" W. This vase comes with a carved wooden stand.

Famille Rose tea pot is decorated with several vignettes of every day life. Each vignette is accompanied by flowering vines, birds and butterflies. Simple disc-shaped lid is ornamented with hand-painted leaves and flowers. Brown wicker tea cozy is lined with mauve linen interior. Small metal ring is located on back of cozy. Wicker lid has hinged fixture to keep cozy closed. Metal handles attached to top. Tea pot measures apprx 6" H x 7-1/2" W. Cozy measures apprx 8" H x 8" W.
