Marked with 84 standard, K.FABERGE in Cyrillic under the Imperial warrant. Gilt neoclassical griffins in each corner, center has gilt eagle with laurel, ferns and flowers. Set into a beveled maroon leather desk folio with four ball feet. Interior has red silk with central paper area with ribbon as a registry. Apprx 15-1/2" x 10-1/2". Julius Rappoport (1851-1917) was one of Fabergé’s rare craftsmen of Jewish origin, was apprenticed in Berlin, opened a workshop in St. Petersburg from 1883-84 and was under exclusive contract. He is best known for his naturalistic animal figures but also executed special commissions for the Imperial Family and the Imperial Cabinet. His workshop was taken over by the First Silver Artel around 1909.

Silversmiths Cyrillic initials in square stamp, possibly Mikhail Mikhailovich Zorin (Ref: Postnikova-Loseva #2421 and #2646). An elaborate hinged sterling silver with gilt in Pan-Slavic style. Stippled gold ground cigarette case with multi-colored enamels in an overall stylized foliage with turquoise pellet borders. Soft marquise cabachon stone release. Hallmaked on exterior with 84 zolotnik and maker. Oval cartouche with a right-facing profile of a woman wearing a diadem with "W" and "1" on interior lip. From 1908 to 1917, a right-facing profile was used until the Russian Revolution. Apprx 4-1/4" x 3" x 1/2". Ref: Postnikova-Loseva #2421

Maker's initials of P.O. for Pavel Ovchinnikov in Cyrillic, and assayers hallmark, right profile of woman wearing diadem. Multicolored shaded cloisonné enamels on a fine gilt stippled background. Gold washed interiors. Turquoise beading at center. Apprx 4"T x 2-3/4"

A lidded box, or master salt, on ball feet with bright cut work on a textured background. Small area of enamel in maples leaves in multi-colors. Interior has a gold wash. Initials of the maker in Cyrillic letters (Postnikova-Loseva #2742) in square cartouch with assayers mark of Lev Fedorovich Oleks (Postnikova-Loseva # 2122) and date. Hallmarked throughout. Bottom is inscribed "Moskow, 20th April Marusa, Mama and Papa". Measures apprx 5" H x 3-1/2" W.

The first item is a silver enameled personal salt on three ball feet. It is stamped on bottom with assay mark and artist initials of unidentified master "P.M." in Cyrillic. Apprx 1" H x 1-7/8" D. Second item is an enameled cup, tapering with gold a wash interior and maker's initials "S.Sh" in Cyrillic. Apprx 1-3/4" H x 1-1/4" D at opening.
