French silver medal hallmarked on edge "ARGENT" with unidentified hallmark in cartouche. Obverse: Bust of Commodore John Paul Jones in a tie-wig and uniform, facing right. Legend: "JOANNI PAVLO JONES CLASSIS PRAEFECTO. COMITIA AMERICANA." (The American Congress to John Paul Jones, Commander of the Fleet.) Reverse: The action between Bonhomme Richard and Serapis, frigates. Legend: "HOSTIVM NAVIBVS CAPTIS AVT FVGATIS." (The enemy's vessels captured or scattered.) Exergue: "AD ORAM SCOTIAE XXIII . SEPT . M . DCCLXXVIIII." (Off the coast of Scotland, 23 September 1779). Medal apprx 2-1/8" (56 mm), overall in wood mat and brass frame apprx 4-3/4" x 4-1/4". Medal apprx 2.7 Troy oz.

American floral repousse silver, this wonderful three piece service features beautiful all over floral and foliate repousse decoration on a stippled background. Includes 8-1/2" coffee pot, 4-1/2"creamer and 2-1/2"sugar. Along with the pattern and model numbers and "M", each piece is also marked "TIFFANY & CO/ STERLING SILVER". The "M" mark was used from 1907 to 1947. Bone insulators on handle of coffee pot. Apprx 32.3 troy oz.

Hallmarked hand chased silver platter/medallion with a scalloped edge, cast handles and four Rococco style cast feet. Center of hand work has a double headed eagle surmounted by a crown. Scalloped body has stylized flowers and leaves. Center shield over eagle's breast has three crowns and the letters "K" and "J". Handle is stamped 900 and "CB". Also stamped illegibly, probably "Handmade", language unknown. Apprx 16-3/4"D (without handles) x 3"T. Apprx 38.7 troy oz.

Possibly 19th Century or earlier, unmarked and unsigned silver hand chased bowl supported with three cast feet. Large flora with broad leaves surround the center image of an armorial crest of a double headed eagle. Bird has a crown over head and breast plate with three crowns and the letters "K" and "J". Weighs apprx 18.4 troy ounces. Apprx 13-1/2"D x 3-1/2"T.
