A commissioned carpet stating "from a group of people giving as one" to "Kishi to the Taicho" (Chinese army general). Late 19th century, apprx 6'3" x 5". This Mongolian carpet has a gold field with a central medallion in the shape of a large blue dragon. Smaller dragons are found in each of the four corners. Chinese text is located in the border as well as on the field.
