Octagonal tortoise shell tea caddy has a small metal, possibly pewter, spring clasp. This box has a hinged lid. Inside the tea caddy is a second lid with an ivory handle. Tea caddy measures apprx 2-3/4" H x 3" W. This piece was originally purchased from a private collection in England.
