This hunting Tabriz has an overall creamy ivory field with a meandering pattern that includes rosettes, leaves, palmettes, lions and another animal figure (the lion's prey) throughout in shades of sage green, light blue, rose and navy blue. Three sets of boarder guards in shades of rose, ivory and navy blue flank a deep ochre boarder. Boarder guards have geometric and stylized floral decorations. Thick ochre boarder has a repeating pattern of rosettes flanked by geometric shapes filled with floral decorations. Measures aprx 8'5" x 11'6".
