Matching pair of handled cups with saucers. Dainty cups have hand painted design of pink flowers and buds. Scrolling gilt accent is featured on lip and rims. Cups are lightly ridged and saucers, slightly scalped. Bottoms of cups feature Green Hand Painted Nippon Stamp. Cups measure apprx 3"H X 2-1/2"D; saucers are apprx 5" at diameter.

Round porcelain jar with stopper. Body shows a scrolling design of hand painted flowers against a light blue and yellow background with detailing in raised gilt. Round stopper additionally has raised gilt and roses on the top. Bottom is marked with blue "Nippon Hand Painted" stamp. Measures apprx 5-1/2"H x 4-1/2"D.

Small porcelain, lidded jar. Jar has four lobes, like the shape of a bell-pepper. Features hand-painted decoration of pink roses set apart in round cartouches surrounded by scrolling gilt. Jar has double lid. The first is round and sits on top, underneath is handled and fits inside lip. Apprx 5-1/2"T x 4"D.

A beautiful pitcher with flared neck, bulbous body and flaring base. Handle has raised star bursts and under spout is a carved face of a bearded man with horns. Glaze colors include cobalt blue and a green/brown. Apprx 4-1/4"T x 2-3/4" at girth. bottom stamped/incised with Doulton Lambeth marks.

This grouping includes three hand painted porcelain figurines of sweet looking ladies: "Blithe Morning", "Gay Morning", and "Top o' the Hill". Blithe wears a billowing blue and pink dress and holds a green hat in hand. Gay wears a rose pink dress and trails a blue scarf behind her. Top is in a wind-blown, dusty-pink dress with layers of petticoats beneath; she secures her black hat from being blown away. Each stands apprx 7-1/4" tall and are stamped on the bottom with the green Royal Doulton insignia.

This grouping includes four small hand painted porcelain figurines of pretty girls: "Catherine", "Invitation", "Pirouette", and "Symphony". Catherine (apprx 5"T) is a little girl in pig-tails clapping her hands. Invitation (apprx 5-1/2"T) wears a pink dress accented with daisies and curtsies with her fan. Pirouette (apprx 6-1/4"Tl) is featured in a light blue gown with a dramatic swirling skirt. Symphony (apprx 6"T) is a demure lady in a ochre colored frock and is playing a lute. Each is stamped on the bottom with the green Royal Doulton insignia.

This lot includes two Royal Doulton figurines: "Ascot" and "Sweet and Twenty". Ascot reclines with her yellow boa, wide brimmed hat and parisol. She is apprx 6"H and designed by May Nicoll as a 1967 limited edition piece. Sweet wears a full skirted red gown while relaxing on a sofa. She is apprx apprx 5-3/4"H and 6-1/2"L. All feature the green Royal Doutlon stamp on the bottom. Additionally included in this grouping is a unmarked figurine of a demure shepherdess. She is accompanied by two sheep. She stands apprx 8"H.

330. Three "Williamsburg" Royal Doulton Figurines, circa 1959


This lot includes three hand-painted porcelain figurines: "The Silversmith of Williamsburg", "The Blacksmith of Williamsburg", and "The Wigmaker of Williamsburg". All of the tradesmen are shown in historical costume, working diligently at their crafts. The Silversmith stands apprx 7-1/2"T, the Blacksmith apprx 6-1/2"T, and the Wigmaker apprx 8"T. All are from a 1959 limited edition collection and feature the green Royal Doutlon stamp on the bottom.

Proceeds from the sale of this item will be donated to the Lyric Opera, Cleveland. Thank You bends over her wooden gate to Bluebell Cottage. She carries a bouquet of blue flowers and wears a cameo at her throat. Bottom displays Hallmark Number 2732 and is from Tableware Ltd. 1982. She is apprx 9-1/4"H. Has green Royal Doulton stamp on bottom.

333. Pair of Large Heinrich Urns, circa 20th Century


Pair of identical German porcelain floor vases. Measure apprx 22"H and apprx 11-1/2" at widest point. Decoration consists of alternating large and small bouquets arched over by garlands. Blue base design embellished by gold on white background. Bottom bears green stamp of Heinrich company, founded in 1904, as well as Echt Kobalt (the name of the line and means genuine cobalt) and Hofgarten.
