204. A Russian Silver Tea Service by Agathon Faberge, Moscow, circa 1884
Tea ( 7"T), cream (5-1/2"T) and sugar (5"T) pots with lids on like tray. Cream and sugar marked with stamp of Moskow, circa 1887 with assayer's stamp in Cyrillic of "B.P.", dated 1884 and silversmiths initials in Cyrillic "A.F." of Agathon Faberge. Interiors have a gold wash. The two smaller pots are decorated with Greek key border and similar peasant design. Larger pot is slightly different in design with angular handle and beadwork along borders. Handle has bone insulators. Has rubbed silversmiths marks, illegible with exception to "1883" the zolotnik stamp and the stamp of Moskow. Tray marked with stamp of Moskow, circa 1887 with assayer's stamp of Viktor Savinkov (Postinikova-Loseva #2112), dated 1884, and silversmiths initials in Cyrillic "V. I". Tray apprx 16-1/2" x 11". A sterling silver egg with sterling stand. Maker's initials of P.O. for Pavel Ovchinnikov in Cyrillic, and assayers hallmark, right profile of woman wearing diadem. Fine raised decoration of grapes on a trellis with gilt insects on a fine gilt stippled background. Apprx 34 round amethysts with visible inclusions. Interior is gold washed. Apprx 3-1/4"T x 2-1/2"W.

Timepiece in 14K rose gold, textured case with pick enamel cover with Breguet numerals, surrounding opening to view dial. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and subsidiary seconds located at the six hour mark. Blued steel "spade" hands. Interior of case hallmarked and inscribed by the maker in Cyrillic. Apprx 35mm diameter.

210. Enameled Sterling & Gilt Owl, circa Mid-20th Century
Elaborate owl figure crafted out of gilt sterling silver with enamel. Birds body is hollow and head lifts off. Owl's breast feathers are executed with very fine metal spirals and the rest of the plumages is achieved through delicate enameling. His eyes are set with tigereye stones. Marked inside head 925 Silver. Item measures approx. 6" tall. Weights apprx 11.3 troy oz.

211. An Impressive Sterling Service, Edinburgh, circa 1849-1850
Ornate set includes coffee pot, tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl. Design is a lavish motif of scrolling lines, leaves and full blossoms. Rims and feet are wavy. Tea pot (measures 8-1/2" x 10-1/2", weighs apprx 25.9 troy ounces) , creamer (measures apprx 7" x 5", weighs 8.4 troy oz. ) and sugar bowl (measures apprx 5-1/4" x 9", weighs apprx 13.9 troy oz.) are all hallmarked. Set is from Edinburgh, 1849-1850, (queen's head profile-left, thistle cartouche, town mark castle cartouche, date mark and makers mark in square cartouche-WCS). One side features monogram the other an arm holding a sword with the inscription "Certavi et Vici (I have fought and conquered). Coffee pot measures apprx 11-1/2" x 10-1/2", weighs apprx 32.7 troy oz, hallmark not found. Creamer and sugar are gold-washed on interior and pots have bone or ivory insulators. Also included is a fancy pot and water heater from London, 1905-1906, silver masters mark in square cartouche JP above ?P. Measures apprx 12" x 10-1/2" and weighs apprx 64.4 troy oz. The large tray is made by Sheffield and is silver over copper. Coat of arms at center reads Guarde le Foy. Measures apprx 30" x 19-1/2".

213. Wallace "Grande Baroque" Sterling Silver Service For Twelve, circa 1941
Wallace & Sons Sterling Silver service in the "Grande Baroque" pattern. Service consists of twelve 6-1/2" salad forks, twelve 10" dinner knives with stainless steel blades, twelve 8" dinner forks, twenty-four 6" teaspoons, twelve 6-3/4" soup spoons and twelve 6-1/4" butter spreaders. Also included in lot is one large 9-1/2" serving spoon, one small 6-1/2" ladle, one small 8" serving fork, and two small 6-1/2" serving spoons. Overall weight is 144.1 troy oz. The Grande Baroque pattern was designed in 1941 by William Warren. The design features curved acanthus leaves, roses and pillars. Each piece is hallmarked Wallace Sterling on verso. All come in mahogany storage box with fuchsia felt lining from Reed and Barton.
