| 338. Mexican Vase with Handle
Double opening vase. Bulb base branches in "V" shape, the arms are linked by a rounded handle. Form is traditional (Mexican folk art) but embellishment in matte black paint, a stylized flower, looks Art Deco. Vase is made from burnished earthenware. Similar in style to "Black pottery" of Dona Rosa Real de Nieto (active 1935-1980). Measures apprx 8-1/4"H by 7-1/4"W. 50/100 Sold $63.25 back to catalog |
