Impressive and unique collection of enameled souvenir spoons. Eighteen spoons documenting travel to states and monuments around the U.S. States include MD, PA, WV, CO, and RI. Four souvenirs for California attractions, and two for Oregon locations. Also included are a Princess Mary, a Lion Country Safari, a Wax Museum and a National Parents and Teachers Spoons. Some feature cloisonne enameling. Commemorative souvenir spoons were produced at least as early as 1881 and were very popular items in Victorian collections.
