The first is "The Adirondack Woods" after a painting by J.M. Hart. The engraving was done by R. Hinshelwood and published by D. Appleton & Co. in New York. The scene is of a landscape with deer resting by the side of a stream. With off-white mat and black frame, print measures apprx 14" x 12-1/4". Second item is a signed etching, "Evensong" by B.G. Mathews. Shows a night-time church procession executed in fine hatch marks. With off-white mat and thin black frame entire piece measures measures apprx 20" x 16".
