| 213. Wallace "Grande Baroque" Sterling Silver Service For Twelve, circa 1941
Wallace & Sons Sterling Silver service in the "Grande Baroque" pattern. Service consists of twelve 6-1/2" salad forks, twelve 10" dinner knives with stainless steel blades, twelve 8" dinner forks, twenty-four 6" teaspoons, twelve 6-3/4" soup spoons and twelve 6-1/4" butter spreaders. Also included in lot is one large 9-1/2" serving spoon, one small 6-1/2" ladle, one small 8" serving fork, and two small 6-1/2" serving spoons. Overall weight is 144.1 troy oz. The Grande Baroque pattern was designed in 1941 by William Warren. The design features curved acanthus leaves, roses and pillars. Each piece is hallmarked Wallace Sterling on verso.
