"Karlskirche (Vienna)". Framed mezzotint on paper, under glass. Hoernes is from a well-know family of Austrian artists (Luigi Kasimor and family). All are best know for European city-views. This picture depicts the grand Baroque church, Karlskirche, with figures walking by. The turquoise color dome stands out against a gray cloudy sky. Signed on lower right. Verso has information sticker. Paper measures apprx 14-1/2" x 12". Nicely framed with gold filet, cream mat and distressed gold painted wood.
