Mexican scene. Pen and dark brown ink on paper, circa 1958, signed lower right matted. Scene depicts a man in a wide brimmed hat loading hay on to a donkey's back while another waits near by. Background is pale. Breitmayer was originally from Michigan, studied under William Merritt Chase and is best know for his landscapes. Paper measures apprx 18-1/2" x 12-1/4". With cream mat entire item, measures apprx 24" x 20".
