135. Captain Edward Jones (Late 18th/Early 19th Century)

Lot includes two ink-washes on paper. First of lot is "Torre Plemmtina, Fiamicino" on wove paper. Verso bears description by artist: "Light House and Fort at the port of Fiamicino, at the mouth of the Fiamicino- or Canal made by [?] as a branch of the Tiber..." Dated March 29th 1829. Measures apprx 9-1/4" X 6". Singed and titled on front, as well. Second of lot is "Suli, Greece" on laid paper with visible watermark. Verso bears a description of this landscape and is dated May 20, 1820. Titled and signed on front. Measures apprx 11-1/4 X 8-1/2".
