| 184. Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989)
Wonderful screen print from the world's best know surrealist artist, Salvador Dali, circa 1971. Image depicts a woman in a ruffled ball gown, with exuberant ink splashes around her head, perhaps as hair. She seems to rest her line-drawn arm on a bust. The back ground is a rich, glowing orange. Print is signed in pencil at the lower right. Edition number 65/145, is seen on lower right. Print has embossed blind stamp, reading Dali 1971, on lower right corner. Print measures apprx 29-3/4" x 21-1/2". Framed in very thin black acrylic fame. Sticker on poster board verso reads "Art Services, Los Angeles". 400/600 Sold $471.50 back to catalog |
