| 738. John Philip Sousa Autograph, American, 1854-1932
Framed, autographed screen print of John Philip Souza. Souza 1854-1932 is best know for composing the patriotic march "Stars and Stripes" forever. The print by Paul Stahr shows Souza in his military uniform that he would have worn while he was conductor of the U.S. Marine Band. The authentic autograph reads "to John McGrash Son from John Philip Sousa" and a written stanza a music from "Maguritte Unusual (?)" 1924. Nicely frame din a mottled green, gold and brown frame.
