Quad was a cartographer from Cologne. He created two works, "Europae tolius orbis terrarum", published in 1592 and "Geographisch Handtbuch", a small folio published in 1600, published by Johann Bussemaker. Verso with German text. Image apprx 7-3/4" x 10-1/2", overall paper apprx 11" x 14-3/4".
