Set includes 6 6"D bread plates, 5 7-1/2"D salad plates, 9 9-3/4"D dinner plates, 5 5"D dessert bowls, 6 2"H x 3-/4"D tea-cups, 6 5-1/4" saucers, one 9-3/4"D double handled, round biscuit plate and a 10"W x 13-1/2"L double handled, oval platter. All measurements are apprx. Bottoms are marked with red and green company stamps.

Porcelain set includes a large fruit bowl and 6 individual bowls. All feature a wavy gilded rim and a pretty, hand painted, pattern of raised gilt flowers and central fleurette in light yellow and white. All have blue "Hand Painted" Nippon company stamp on bottom. Serving bowl measures apprx 2-1/4"H x 9-1/2"W and small bowls, apprx 1-1/2"H x 5"W.

A large hand painted urn in a bronze ormolu mounting. Front of vase features a round painting of two adults finding a sleeping cupid in very colorful polychrome enamels. Verso has a smaller rondel with Cupid and arrow. Both scenes are surround by raised dot work and robin's egg blue borders which extend throughout the body of vase. Sides have two marquis shaped vignettes of standing cranes in gilt on a lapis blue background. Overall background color is a dark rose/cranberry. Gilt fern heads and swags decorate borders. Bronze tripod base is little gilt left, however very nice with shell and scroll motif. Upper bronze "crown" at rim has lovely open work, also missing much of the original gilt detail. Apprx 11-1/4"T overall. Verso stamped "231", "C" and over glaze blue beehive mark.

Twelve frogs grace the rim of this glazed bowl. Blue glaze on footed bowl with green leaves under the amphibian posterior. Bottom stamped with QM990415 and incised with H36 and B30. Apprx 10-1/2"D x 3-1/2"T.

Smooth rounded handles flank the diamond shaped opening of the crystalline vase. Gaze is very nice in a dark blue into green over oatmeal base. Bottom incised with manufacturer's marks. Their mark features an armored helmet, flanked by the letters "P" (for Pierrefonds) and "H" (for Hallez). Apprx 7-1/2"T x 5-1/2"W at handles.The "Societe Faienciere Heraldique de Pierrefonds" pottery studio began in 1903 under the ownership of Comte Hallez d'Arros. Reference: Ceramiques Art Nouveau, 1994, Chateau-Musee de Vallauris.

Dark cobalt blue glaze over yellow with details piqued in gilt on face, handles and base. Rim also with gold and two gold bands at neck. Bottom has impressed marks for Wedgwood including the height as well as Doric. Apprx 7-1/4"T.
