633. Lot of 6 Valentines 1) Printed card features an embossed cover illustration of children kissing with a line that reads "'Twould fill me full of joy and bliss if you'd give me a tiny kiss". Interior has a poem. 2) Valentine printed on shiny paper made to look like satin reads "Friendly Valentine Greetings" and has a silhouette of a girl and her puppy. Interior has a printed message and is signed. Verso has mark of Vollani, made in U.S.A. 3) Hand made Valentine is crafted from a cardboard heart painted with a gilded cupid and decorated with felt hearts and a pink hanging ribbon. Card reads "From You Know Who". 4) Valentine hand made from red paper doily and white ribbon and features a decoration of a lock of hair and a message of "I Love You" written in black marker. Lot also features two fold-out Valentines. Large card depicts flower carrying children before a cupid with a note reading "To my Valentine". 634. Lot of Six Special Valentines 1) Printed cardboard Valentine depicts a box of pansies and is rimmed with cut hearts decorated with Forget-me-nots. Gilt message reads "My Valentine" and is signed Harold F. 1907. Verso is blank. 2) Booklet-card has an image of a Cupid and is titled "Glad Happy Echoes of Love." Eight pages are bound with a blue bow and feature bright illustrations through out. 3) Mechanical Valentine fan features two pull out panels decorated as daffodils and bearing the words "To My Love". Card unfolds to show a central angle who can then slide up to reveal a love poem. 4) Easel Backed valentine is made from parchment paper printed with sweet peas. Center features a card printed with pansies and a small poem and backed with lavender fabric. 5) Valentine features a central image of a small girl waving . Four cut out leaves are attached to heavy paper backing with four brass tacks. Verso has remnants of a pink ribbon for hanging 6) Valentine card has a front cover design of irises with pierce cut leaves and a small window through which can be seen a landscape. 635. Five Fancy Valentines 1) Quatrefoil shaped Valentine features a top layer of lace cut paper with a central-image of a young girl surrounded by pansies. Interior bears a printed poem. 2) Second quatrefoil features a central decoration of a printed cupid with his bow drawn back. He is frame by a small foil filigree sheet and small scraps. Interior has a poem called "A Love". 3) Blue and white embossed card features lace cut paper decorated with floral scraps. On verso in an image of a young man. 4) Rectangular embossed paper is decorated with a paper heard with printed Morning Glories. Top layer is a foil doily frame and a message reading "I think of thee". Poem printed on inside. 5) Valentine has a bottom layer of green printed paper, middle layer of blue printed paper and a top layer of a foil doily decorated with scraps, thorough which one can see a chromolithograph image of a rose. 636. Lot of Three Fancy, Large Valentines 1) Triple Layer Valentine Features two sheets of floral printed paper. Top layer is a foil lace cut frame through which one can see a coquettish young woman with ankles exposed. Interior features a printed poem. Measures apprx 8"H x 6"W. 2) Ornate Valentine features layers of lace cut paper and pretty scraps. Images include a young girl, pansies and violets. Poem printed inside is called " Loving Regards". Measures apprx 9-1/4"H x 6-1/2"W. 3) Intricate Valentine is crafted out of layers of lace cut and embossed, printed papers. One can see a central design of prim roses surrounded by other scraps such as a Pigeon "Think of me, Love" and "Love Unites Us" as well as tiny pieces of red velvet ribbon. Two envelopes are printed with fancy designs in gilt, the rest are embossed with lacy or floral patterns. Lot also includes one Valentine letter with post marked envelope, one blank Valentine decorated with three scraps of a bird a wreath and a note saying "I Hear the Hopes of Many" with embossed post-marked envelope, and an exquisite paper cut envelope which opens to show a silk backed poem entitled "Farewell".
