460. Glazed Pottery Vase, circa early 19th Century
Pottery vase glazed and decorated with stippled ground. Image on one side of Birch tress and leaves. Bulbous form with narrow neck and small accent handles. Rim is rounded and thick. Bottom impressed with "102". Cream colored base glaze has fine crazing throughout and trees have hand painting. Apprx 9"T x 6" at girth.

462. Wash Basin and Pitcher, English, circa 19th Century
Porcelain set in blue and white made by A. Bros of England includes a handled pitcher and matching basin. Floral pattern is transfer decorated in the "Rhododendron" pattern. Round shapes of the vessles are further decorated with light gadrooning. Bottoms are marked with blue company stamp and the initial "M". Basin measures apprx 5"H x 15-1/2"W and pitcher, apprx 11-1/2"H x 7-1/2"W. Lot also includes a small vase of similar style and pattern. Has no company marks and measures apprx 5"H.

Lot includes three female hand-painted porcelain figurines. First is "Miss Muffet" who carries an umbrella and wears a red winter coat and muff. She has green company stamp and HN 1936. Measures apprx 5-3/4". Second is "August" from the figure of the month series. Bottom bears green Royal Doulton Stamp, HN 3325. She measures apprx 5-1/2"H. Last item in lot is "Goody Two Shoes". She wears a white bonnet and a full red dress. Green stamp on bottom with HN 2037. Measures apprx 5-1/4"H.

First in lot is "Adrienne". She wears a blue gown and holds her yellow shawl about her shoulders. Marked with green company stamp and HN 2304. Apprx 7-1/2"H. Second figurine, "Fair Lady", wears a green and yellow dress and appears to be curtsying. Has green company stamp and HN 2193. Apprx 7-1/2"H. Third item is Rosalind. This seated porcelain girl wears a blue dress with billowing sleeves; she holds out a yellow rose. Marked with green stamp and HN 2393. Apprx 5-1/2"H. Also included in lot is a miniature Toby Mug. Stamped with green Royal Daulton stamp on bottom. Measures apprx 2-1/4"H.

"Raku Lily Plate". An early work by the renowned artist, round plate features a red lilly against a cream surface marked by crazing. At the base of the flower is a medium relief design involving impressed floral shapes glazed over with a pearlescent tan glaze. Base clay is grey. Signed on bottom with business card. Measures apprx 14-1/4"D.

469. PV Opera Plates, American, circa 1928
Proceeds from the sale of this item will be donated to the Lyric Opera of Cleveland. Lot of 12 porcelain plates by Peasant Village featuring transfer decorated scenes from well know operas. Plates depict characters as well as a page from the libretto. Plates feature name Y. Yostiauof as designer. Some of the operas include: "Les Dragons de Villars", "Le Barbier de Seville", "Guillaume Tell" and "Les Pré aux Clercs". There are doubles of "Les Dreagons de Villars" and "Lucie de Lammermoor". Each plate is trimmed around rims with a band of green and of gilt. Marked with PV in a circle. Each measures apprx 6-1/4" D.
